GC "Khimmed" began preparations for IPO on "SPB Exchange"

Sources on the market told RBK about Khimmed's plans to conduct an IPO on the SPB Exchange. The company itself said that in the medium term, "they are considering various options for attracting investment."

The day before, the company disclosed its IFRS financial statements for three years at once for the first time - from 2022 to 2024. According to the results of last year, the operator earned 6.343 billion rubles, in total, over three years, revenue increased by 24%. The largest contribution to Khimmed's revenue is traditionally provided by the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors, followed by the microelectronics sector. Net profit in 2023 doubled - to 781 million rubles, but in 2024 it returned to values ​​​​comparable with the 2022 figure - 375.2 million rubles. The growth of financial results in 2023 was due to favorable market conditions and an expansion of the range of supplies, while in 2024 there was a leveling of demand and, in fact, a normalization of the market.

The revenue growth is explained by the increase in demand for Khimmed products, the development of the market as a whole, as well as the expansion of the range of products and services offered. The company states that by 2030 it targets revenue growth of more than three times - up to 22 billion rubles - with an average annual growth of 23% due to the emphasis on the development of high-margin in-house production.

The company has financed several R&D projects, including the development and production of a mass spectrometer with the support of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade. Investments in development amounted to 1.072 billion rubles over the past three years. In addition to expanding production to reduce its cost and increase the company's marginality, Khimmed is aiming to build a new warehouse in Podolsk according to modern standards for storing chemical products.

GC "Khimmed" is a Russian manufacturer and distributor of reagents for pharmaceuticals, laboratory diagnostics and microelectronics, and is one of the systemically important enterprises. The group of companies was founded in 1991, the beneficiaries are not disclosed.
